We are piloting our SMART Implementation course. Consider participating in this unique opportunity to learn and share feedback as we refine this curriculum.
This 20-hour course is designed for master’s level mental health practitioners interested in deepening and refining their ability to apply the SMART model independently. Participants will deepen their skills in assessment and treatment, enhance ways to involve caregivers, and build capacity to weave Somatic Regulation Tools, Therapist Skills and Video Reflection. This course promotes greater ability to recognize and respond to embodied traumatic content in session.
Participants are expected to present clinical (or simulated) video of their SMART work and will engage in Video Reflection. Furthermore, we will explore how to implement the SMART Model in participants’ unique settings.
This Pilot runs Thursdays 11:30 am-1:30 pm EST on June 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 July 6 No meeting, July 13, 20, 27, Aug. 3, 10.
Participants in the pilot are expected to provide feedback on the learning activities and content throughout the course. The fee for the Pilot is $500, a 50% reduction from the regular $1,000 fee. This reduction is in recognition of your contribution to SMART.
